The sole purpose of the Extension is to analyze a user-selected image on a webpage and generate structured visual analysis results and reusable prompts.

When you use the Extension, we may process the following information:

  1. The webpage image URL or image content that you explicitly choose to analyze.
  2. Basic page context, such as the page title or page URL.
  3. Configuration values that you choose to enter and save in the Extension, such as Gemini API Key or Backend Base URL.
  4. Locally stored history, UI state, or settings.
  5. Anonymous installation identifiers, basic usage counts, or error statistics, if enabled in future versions.

5. How Data Is Stored / 数据存储方式

Local Storage / 本地存储

The Extension uses browser local storage such as Chrome storage to save settings, including API keys, backend URLs, history, and UI state. This information is stored locally in the user's browser environment by default.

本扩展会使用浏览器本地存储（例如 Chrome storage）保存设置，例如 API Key、后端地址、历史记录和界面状态。这些信息默认保存在用户的浏览器环境中。

Server-side Processing / 服务端处理

If the Extension is configured to use a backend service, requests may be sent to the backend, which may then call third-party AI services to complete the analysis.

7. About API Keys / 关于 API Key

If you enter your own API key in the Extension:

  1. The key may be stored locally in your browser storage.
  2. The key is used only to complete analysis requests that you explicitly initiate.
  3. We do not intentionally display your API key publicly.
  4. We do not sell your API key to third parties.

如果你在扩展中填写你自己的 API Key：

  1. 该 Key 可能会保存在你的浏览器本地存储中。
  2. 该 Key 仅用于完成你主动发起的分析请求。

8. Data Sharing / 数据共享

We do not sell personal data. We do not use user data for advertising or marketing purposes unrelated to the core function of the Extension. Relevant data may be sent to backend services or third-party AI services only when necessary to complete the Extension's core analysis function.

9. Data Retention / 数据保留

Locally stored data remains in the browser until it is removed, the Extension is uninstalled, or settings are changed. Server logs or anonymous usage statistics, if any, are retained only for a reasonable period necessary to operate the service, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product.

Reasonable measures are taken to protect processed data, but no internet transmission or local storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The Extension is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

  2. Clear locally stored Extension data.
  3. Stop using or uninstall the Extension.
